WHILE KEEPING MY DISTANCE: Random Reflections During a Pandemic A series of periodic reflections published on my blog (www.FatherKnott.com) during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. Since there was absolutely nothing I could do about the pandemic itself, I decided to use my time to focus on doing well the "ordinary things" that many people do on a regular basis without much thought and then write about them. In the words of Flannery O’Connor, “I write because I don't know what I think until I read what I say. ” By becoming personally more intentional about doing those "ordinary things" with care and focused attention and writing about them, my hope is to inspire others to maybe do the same even after the pandemic passes.
